Creating Landscape Proposals - Mobile App

Landscape Proposal Creation — Mobile (iOS)

The iOS app builds the same proposal from the same line items, with a different entry point and a single scrolling screen in place of the desktop's separate form, table, and calculators.

Step One: Open the Proposal Screen (Mobile)

The proposal is reached from the map itself, rather than an Actions menu, so it can be started without leaving the project's map view.

  1. Tap the $ icon — in the map view's toolbar, tapping the dollar sign opens the proposal screen, pre-filled with the project's existing line items.

Step Two: Review Proposal Information and Settings (Mobile)

The same business details and display choices from the desktop form appear here as a single scrolling list, rather than separate sections, so everything can be set in one pass down the screen.

  1. Scroll through Proposal Information — Business Developer, Lead Source, and Proposal Name are each shown as a row that opens for editing when tapped.
  2. Set the display options — Pricing (By Line Item or Flat Rate), Photos (which to include) and Photo Date Range (restrict to a date window), Maps (for example, Map with Markers and ID), and Resources, plus free-text Proposal Note and Work Order Note fields.

Step Three: Review Line Items and the Billing Summary (Mobile)

Line items and their cost summary appear further down the same scrolling screen, rather than in a separate table or calculator, so the whole proposal can be reviewed without switching screens.

  1. Review each line item — grouped by asset, each with its total and an on/off toggle; Deselect All clears every toggle at once. Tap any line item directly to edit it.
  2. Fill in the summary fields — Gross Margin, Permit, Materials, Equipment, Waste Disposal, and Discount can each be tapped and set directly, and Apply Sales Tax sets the tax rate for the whole proposal.

Step Four: Preview the Proposal (Mobile)

The proposal is rendered exactly as the customer will see it before it's finalized, just as on desktop, so it can be checked first.

  1. Tap the upload icon — in the top-right corner of the proposal screen, this generates the Preview.
  2. Review the preview — the same layout as desktop — branding, Proposal Value, property and contact details, the itemized Services table, Permit and Sales Tax lines, the Total, and a map with a legend for every included asset.

Step Five: Save and Generate the Proposal (Mobile)

Saving the preview and generating the customer-facing document are two separate taps, rather than one action, so a proposal can be saved as a work-in-progress before it's actually sent.

  1. Save the preview — tap the floppy-disk icon in the top-right corner to save it as a record, with a downloadable PDF, note fields, and an activity/follow-up timeline appearing below.
  2. Tap the share icon to generate the proposal — a "Create" menu opens with Proposal or Proposal with signature; choosing one produces the finished document to directly send to the customer or download the PDF.
