PHC Mobile Proposal Viewing & Delivery

Background

Previously, Plant Health Care (PHC) proposals opened in an external mobile browser and did not offer the same in-app email and text-message submission workflow as General Tree Care (GTC) proposals. PHC proposals now open within the ArborNote mobile app and can be submitted through the existing proposal delivery workflow.

Step-by-Step

Screenshots below follow the supplied iOS sequence; Android uses the same workflow.

1. Open a project and view inventory

Open a project, view inventory by clicking under the document icon, then head to the PHC tab at the bottom to start PHC proposal creation.

2. Complete PHC proposal settings

Enter or review the proposal information, including pricing, start date, photos, and other applicable options. The arrow at the upper right proceeds to the proposal preview.

3. Review the proposal and save

Review the PHC treatment plan and proposal total in the embedded preview, then tap Save.

4. Review the saved proposal

The saved proposal displays within ArborNote, with the activity/follow-up timeline and proposal content. Tap the share icon in the upper-right corner to submit the proposal.

5. Select a delivery method

In the Submit Proposal dialog, choose Send by Email or Send by Text Message. Select Cancel to close without submitting.

6. Review and send a text message

The SMS composer opens with a recipient and a message populated from the proposal delivery template. Review the details and tap the send arrow to send.

7. Review and send an email

The email composer opens with recipient, subject, and template content. Review the populated PHC proposal details and tap the send arrow to send.

Troubleshooting / Support FAQ

Where are the email and SMS options?

Open the saved PHC proposal and tap the upper-right share icon, then choose a delivery method from Submit Proposal.

Why is the customer or proposal information incorrect?

Verify the selected project, proposal, customer contact details, and configured delivery template.

What if the message composer opens but the message is not sent?

Opening the composer is not proof of delivery though it will show as Submitted in the proposal activity timeline as Submitted. Confirm the message was sent by checking texts.

Are PHC-specific templates required?

No.

Does this change GTC delivery or the customer approval process?

No.
