The Works app is an interactive work order app that allows crew to complete work orders and sync the details back to ArborNote desktop app.
With works you can:
- Track crew hours
- Complete JSA form requirements.
- Filter work order map by any attribute.
- Tap into tree IDs to get full details and see existing photos.
- Track estimated vs. actual crew hours to track your productions rate.
- Add after photos to individual tree IDs or add photos to the work order summary carousel.
- Add individual tree notes and completion percentages.
- Add extra work and exclude exceptions.
Tap on the three line icon in the top left to get to the the Settings menu:
- Here is where you can find the current version of the Works app you are running along with your current iOS or Android version.
- You can also set the filter to filter by a specific crew calendar if you have more than one set up in the desktop app.
- To switch to PHC work orders, toggle on Plant Healthcare.
- Choose to set your pin markers to ID# or TAG#
- If you have multiple branch accounts, tap on "Account" to switch between branches.
- There is also a new option to clear your cache.
The main screen of the Works app will show a list of scheduled work orders. The crew leader will log in and see the current days work orders highlighted with a yellow bar at the top. Tapping on the desired work order to open it.
Opening and Completing Work Orders:
- Tap into the desired work order you would like to work on.
Log your crew hours by tapping on "Today's Crew Size" and adding your crew members and hours.
- To add a new crew member, tap on the "+" icon in the top right and select a category and enter name.
- To permanently remove a crew members name, left swipe and click on delete.
- Setting the start and end time will automatically assign that start and end time for all crew added. To set specific hours for an individual crew member, long hold on the name and enter the hours for that crew member in the pop up window.
Complete your JSA form for the day.
- Select English or Spanish translation in the top right.
- Crew will be automatically added to form (make sure you assign crew members before completing the JSA).
- Complete details and save. Details will sync to the work order summary in the ArborNote desktop app. The "Bell" icon will turn from Red to Blue once completed.
- Complete the form for each day of the work order.
Tap on "View Site Map" to open the interactive work order map.
- Tap on the map marker or left swipe at the top to select and active a tree ID#.
- Once selected you can take after photos of the tree using the camera icon or uploading from your mobile device.
- To mark tree 100% completed, tap on the "Checkmark" icon.
- To mark tree as a partial completion, tap on the "Chart" icon and enter the % complete. (Ex: 50 for 50%).
- To mark the tree as an 'exception' meaning work was unable to be completed, use the "Exclamation" icon.
- To filter your map, tap on the "Funnel" icon and choose the attribute to filter by.
- Be sure to tap on the cloud to sync your updates back to ArborNote.
Your map will update as you complete your trees. This information will also show as a summary completion % by day in the main work order screen.
You can also switch to a list view of your trees with completion details by tapping on the list icon (three dots and three lines) from the main work order screen.
