PHC Treatment Price per Inch
The Price per Inch ($/Inch) setting is available under:
Settings → General → Service Goals → PHC
ArborNote uses this rate to calculate the estimated chemical cost of a treatment on a PHC work order based on the tree’s DBH.
Chemical Price = DBH × Price per Inch
For example, if the rate is $2.50 per inch and the tree’s DBH is 14 inches, the calculated Chemical Price will be $35.00.
The $/Inch setting does not automatically populate treatment pricing on PHC proposals. When creating a proposal, you must still enter the treatment’s Price per Application manually.
The calculated chemical costs appear only on PHC work orders in the Chemical and Total Chemical Price fields. The $/Inch setting does not affect proposal totals, PHC Scheduler costs, or GTC work orders.
If the DBH is entered as a range, such as 6-10, ArborNote uses the average value of 8. Blank DBH values or entries containing three or more numbers cannot be calculated and will contribute $0 to the chemical total.
